who strive to meet the needs of our patients.
Neda Ashourian, MD
Dr. Ashourian has called Chicago home since 1993. She earned her BA in biology and her medical degree from the University of Chicago.
She completed an internal medicine internship at Indiana University, a dermatology residency at Rush University, and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at the Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute. Dr. Ashourian is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon certified by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. Prior to joining NWSCI, she was an assistant professor of dermatology at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and the head of the department's dermatology services at the Jesse Brown VA Center.

Jean Christophe Lapiere, MD
Dr.Lapiere earned his medical degree at the University of Liege, Belgium.
Dr.Lapiere has made Chicago his home since attending Northwestern University where he completed a residency in dermatology and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. He is board certified as a dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology and in Mohs micrographic surgery by the American College of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
Dr. Lapiere is a member of Northwestern Memorial Hospital medical staff and cofounder of the Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute.

Danielle Sandoval, PA-C
Danielle was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 2008 with a Bachelorís of Science in Community Heath with a medical emphasis.
Prior to PA school, she received her EMT-B certification and worked as a Patient Care Technician in the emergency room at Glenbrook Hospital. Danielle completed her Masterís degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012 at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. After graduating, Danielle spent three years in outpatient internal medicine in Arizona. During her time in Arizona, Danielle gained familiarity with skin cancer amongst various dermatologic conditions and decided to pursue her interest in dermatology when she moved back to Chicago. Danielle joined Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute in November 2015. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading, attending fitness classes, skiing, playing with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.
